APSRTC To Send Buses To Sabarimala

The Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation has deputed a team of officials to Kerala to discuss with the government there, to monitor the fleet of buses to be operated from various destinations in AP to Sabarimala, in the next three months.

A three-member team including Chief Traffic Manager P. Seshagiri Rao, Chief Marketing Manager A. Ramakrishna and Nellore Regional Manager P. Komaraiah went to Kerala on Sunday.


In the week-days tour, the team will participate in the coordination meetings with the public representatives and officials of Kerala.

The APSRTC officials will meet Kerala Transport Minister, Endowments, Fire, Police and other department officials and request them to cooperate in making the arrangements. Following the recommendations of the team, the APSRTC will depute supervisors, mechanics, security guards, drivers, ANMs and technicians to look after the arrangements for the staff visiting Sabarimala from November to January 2011.
