Poor Quality And Facilities - Stop The AC Buses To Bangalore

The quality of KSRTC's Ac buses purchased from TATA (TATA Globus) has become pathetic now. Nowadays passengers started avoiding these buses because of the continuous AC failure and break down problems. These buses are almost two years old and almost all the buses are not in a good condition to travel such a long distance.

Three months back, we have reported the nightmare journey in KSRTC AC Bus from Kottayam to Bangalore. For some 40 passengers traveled in that Bus on August 15, it was a ‘soaking feeling’, because of the rain and that got them all wet. Water was constantly leaking from the bus, as it was raining heavily on that day. Read the news here.

Here is a complaint which we have received from one of our readers.

Shanavas is telling that "Quality of  the TATA AC buses to Bangalore are poor. I have traveled in many buses from kottayam and Eranakulam and trissur.

A long trip bus should be Comfortable to travel. New tata buses gear ratio is such that the bus give sharp push-pull jerks on lower gears. Also these buses has vibration at around 70 kmph. Is KSRTC bus experts not aware that new age hi-tech buses will not vibrate. And even if they vibrate that would be after years of usage and after a speed of 100 - 120 kmph.

First I thought this is an issue with the bus in which I traveled. But later after traveling in many buses, understood that this is an issue with all the tata hi tech buses.

There is a Bangalore bus from Kottarakkara which passes through Tiruvalla at around 3.30 PM. Drivers of this bus does not care about the state of the road and guttters. They drive in high speed through these potholes and this is very much a discomfort for the sleeping traveller.

Please take care of these simple but important issues.
