Hundreds of passengers are commuting on this route, but no direct bus service is available in the office timings. Hence in the morning time, we have to get down at Thoppumpady and catch the pvt bus running from Thoppumpady to kakkanad (via maradu - kundanoor bridge). But it is very terrific and hardship for the passengers from FortKochi to get in to this bus.
One KSRTC bus is commuting by 8:10 am, but this also starts from thoppumpady and most probably it will be reaching very late. A non a/c volvo bus is commuting from Edakochi at 7:15 am to puthenkurishu without any passengers. The same bus is commuting by 5:30 pm from puthenkurishu to mundamveli and it is very helpful for us to reach thoppumpady in the evening. if the same is extended to Fortkochi in the evening time and the same is providing in the morning time ( i.e. 8 am from fortkochi), passengers like us from Fortkochi will be more convenient and helpful to reach the office in time without any hurdles inbetween the route.
