As a part of the campaign, we have hiked the kilo meter target to 5 Kmpl from 4.5 Kmpl. Long back, we were achieving a target of 3.5 Kmpl to 4 Kmpl. After giving proper training to the staff's especially drivers, Now we started achieving the target of 4.5-4.8 Kmpl. Said a higher official to KSRTCBlog.
We have already given some instructions to the drivers regarding how to improve the fuel efficiency by a proper and good manner of driving. Almost all our drivers are following it and within a short span of time we will achieve the target of 5 Kmpl. He added.

The officials have placed the boards and banners with the caption "Save Fuel Save KSRTC" in all the depots, especially on the driver's door in all the buses, Near diesel sheds, near drivers rest room etc to aware them regarding this.
Very good move by KSRTC, as diesel prices are increasing day by day. Improve in FE can be achieved by proper training on driving tips. More over, the condition of our roads too depends on Fuel efficiency.
