KSRTC To Withdraw TN Series Buses

After a couple of months, you cannot see a TN series old war horses on the fleets of Kerala. The Kerala Sate Road Transport Corporation is taking back all the TN Series buses which has completed its 15 Years of service.

There were 1000 buses with KSRTC in TN series. (TN is a series with two letters which is taken from the word TRANSPORT). KSRTC had taken off around 600 buses in the TN series couple of months back. TN series buses started running from 1995. According to the motor vehicles act of Kerala, a vehicle which is more than 15 years old should not run as a stage carrier (Or 12 Lakhs Kms). This is the reason that all the buses which is in working condition also forced to take back from the road.
