KSRTC Bus Sevice From Bangalore To Pampa (Sabarimala)

Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) is not running any bus service from Bangalore To Pampa. As there are so many pilgrims from Bangalore and other parts of Karnataka, KSRTC should take the initiative for starting the Pampa bus services.

Instead of finding a bus from Bangalore to pampa its better to catch some other buses to Kerala which is going very nearer to Pampa. That is Thiruvalla, Kottayam and Kottarakkara. KSRTC is running two buses to Thiruvalla. That is (Karnataka RTC is not running any buses to Thiruvalla, Chengannur and Kottarakkara)


Buses to Thiruvalla, Chengannur, Pandalam

1) 17:30 Kottarakkara (Super deluxe air bus) Via Palakkad, Thrissur, Kottayam, Thiruvalla, Chengannur, Pandalam.
2) 16:15 Thiruvalla (Super deluxe air bus) Via Palakkad, Thrissur, Ernakulam

From Thiruvalla Bus Station, you will get direct buses to Pampa which will take only 3-1/2 hours journey from there. Approximate Distance From Thiruvalla To Pampa is 100 Kms.

Buses To Kottayam

15.45 Kottayam (Via Mysore, Thrissur, Moovattupuzha)
17.30 Kottayam (Salem, Coimbatore, Thrissur)

From Kottayam, you will get direct buses to Pampa frequently. which will take only 4 hours. Approximate Distance From Kottayam To Pampa is 130 Kms

  1. Thiruvalla is no way convenient place for Sabarimala passengers..as all special buses start from Chengannur in every 15 minutes/Kottayam..Either start Inter state buses from CGNR or increase frequency Interstate buses from Kottayam...

Thiruvalla is not at all a convenient place for Sabarimala passengers,as All Pamba Special FP/SFP/LSO buses start from Chengannur in every 15 Minutes & as well as from Kottayam..The need is either Start interstate buses(MSR/BNGLR/CBE...) from CGNR or increase frequency of Interstate buses from Kottayam..
