KSRTC buses will be the chief source of journey to Sabarimala. When KSRTC have approached the Thenkasi Municipal Corporation to operate an S.M Office at Thenkasi, they have offered a room in the middle bus bay for the monthly rent of Rs.4300, But KSRTC declined that offer by telling that they are unable to provide such a huge amount as monthly rent.
ATO of Punalur depot has send a request letter to the District Collector, Thirunelveli regarding this issue to take further steps to allot a room for a nominal rent at the Thenkasi Bus Bay and give further instructions duly to the Thenkasi Municipal corporation for the same above.
