  2. @ Anson, KSRTC Will think a lot to take some decisions like this.

Once i spoke to an official regarding the procedure to start a counter, his replies was, In some depots, one long service will be at morning 5 am or 7am, and the next one will be at night 10pm. So there they will require 2 extra persons to handle the counter, ie to take the printout of reservation chart and all... it was such an idiotic answer from him.

In some depots, if there is any services starting before or after functioning times of counter, they will close the reservation by previous day and take the print out of chart.

Regarding the expenses for adding the bus schedule to online reservation site, as it is doing by KSRTC itself, i think there is no much expenses.

But there are some technical and logical problems to add some services like this.

One can reserve a ticket from Ernakulam to Palani in Cherthala Palani express, but he cannot do the same from Cherthala, as there is no reservation counter/facility.

But, there is no facility like that for Velankanni express from Changanassery. But one can board the bus from Pandalam, Chengannur, Adoor, etc places for Kottarakkara Bangalore deluxe by reserving the ticket from Kottarakkara to Bangalore.
