4 injured as KSRTC Super Express bus collides with lorry

Chengannur: Four persons were injured in an accident involving a Mini lorry and a Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) Super Express bus at Mulakkuzha on the MC Road Near Chengannur on Saturday evening.

A Kanyakumari bound Super Express bus which started its journey from Ernakulam Via Kottayam collided with the mini lorry which was coming with soda bottles around 6.30 Pm. The lorry after colliding with the bus rammed to a bike which was parked there in front of a shop.

Four of the injured including the driver of Lorry Biju(35), Cleaner, Binu(27), Suresh Babu(44), Manoj (38) were admitted in a private hospital nearby. First aid was given to those who sustained minor injuries.

Fire fighters of the Department of Fire and Rescue Services had a tough time to take out the Mini Lorry and to clear the traffic.
