Dear friends,
With the intiative of sujith we all got a venue to share our experience, suggestions about our state owned transport cooperation.. it slowly got its pace with the participation of many people from different spheres and locations.
www.keralastatertc.blogspot.com, presently ksrtcblog.com. is the out come of our active participation and sharing of our views and ideas.It has created its ripples after the first meet in tvm which was held couple of months ago. The MD of KSRTC Mr. T.P Senkumar also participated in that meet, We were able to share our ideas and also express our grievances and problems then. Now the blog is planning to have a meet in Bangalore where people from kerala and also KSRTC doing a remarkable job.
So here I would like to point out something which clearly says that there should be meet in Bangalore.
1. Bangalore is the most popular destination of our KSRTC.
2. Service to Bangalore needs a lot of reconstruction as we all suggest and share through this blog
3. The route in which KSRTC faces stiff competition from Karnataka srtc and many of the private players so it requires careful and wise planning in which feedback from the frequent travelers will be catalyst.
4. This will be golden opportunity for the frequent travelers in KSRTC to express their views to the officials directly, As this meet will be conducted with the presence of higher authorties of KSRTC.
5. We can actively share our thoughts and ideas together
So I request our active participants from Bangalore to take part in this meet which is planning to be conducted on the mid of June this year.
TOGHTHER WE CAN , WE WILL MAKE SOME DIFFERENCE

Please share the achievements of last meet. Then only it will be worth partcipating in such event.
As of now, it is nothing more than time pass & fun event.

ReplyDeleteIt was a nice and great even which we conducted in TVM. The number of participants was very less, but that did mot make any problem, as we got the presence of our MD Mr TP Senkumar for that event.
Results of that event was people got a chance to interact with the top officials of Ksrtc. Most of them shared their thoughts, ideas, complaints and suggestions with them. As the editor of ksrtcblog.com, i myself shared all the complaints and discussions that we posted and discussed in the blog with them and got the replies and necessary actions from them.
One of the main important achievement was because of the Sankar's complaint about a 15 year old TA series bus which used to run in TVM district, MD gave an order to withdraw all the old buses from the streets. As a result of this few of the TN series buses are called off from the streets and depots like changanassery, alappuzha etc got some new buses.
Actually there is competition from private players only to both KeSRTC and KnSRTC, there is no competition between KeSRTC and KnSRTC as there is agreement on how much distance should each corporation should cover in a year between each states. getting patronage depends on each corporation

I am Anilesh from Varkala, Trivandrum district Kerala.I am Physically Challenged Person.I have a 40% disability certificate.My problem is Spina Bifide with scolysis with permanent disability in left leg .Two years ago I applied for Disability pass at Attingal depot.I submitted all the attested copies of the required documents with the application which they ask to submit alongwith.The official told me to come back after two month.After two month when I went to enquire they told me that your application is rejected because this is a case of Cerebral palasy and such patients are not entitled to get any disability pass.I wonder I have seen many people who are travelling with such pass who are not as much as disable like me.If they can get the pass then why not I.Is it a matter of Bribe or something.Should I deposit money in the KSRTC to get my disability pass.I complaint various Official regarding this matter but nothing happened.I even complained in the sutharya keralam but nothing happened.I request you to please look into this matter.

then pls don't tell anything abt it. i know who all wer there and wat all things happened there. That meet was an excellent meet which conducted by KSRTC Travelers forum with ksrtcblog.
"ksrtc alle, orikkalum nannavilla" ennanu palaruteyum dharana. That we have to change. For changing all those things we have to conduct something like this. i support my level best for a bangalore meet.
