Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) employees of Mavelikkara Regional Workshop offered a special gift to the Corporation. They created a new bus over past few days without demanding any pay in return. This is the 250th bus which is coming out from KSRTC's Mavelikkara Regional Workshop.

Transport minister Jose Thettayil received the bus from the staff correspondent. KSRTC MD T.P SenKumar, M. Murali MLA, M RajendraNath (Works Manager) were present for the function.

250th Bus will run as a Fast Passenger with bonnet number RNM 90. This bus is handed over to Mavelikkara Depot. Said Mr Rajendra Nath, Works Manager of Mavelikkara RW To KSRTCBlog.

Mavelikkara RW                    A FP Under Construction

We started building body in 2007, and at present we have around 350 staffs. We have a target of 10-12 buses a month and we are not facing any problem to achieve that target. At present we are building body for Fast Passenger and Venad buses, because of shortage of Ordinary buses in fleet. He added.

  2. Mavelikkara should improve the quality of bus body. Their body is not so good as compared to other RW. Especially the seats are not comfort giving any type of comfort.

  5. I don't like to travel in Mavelikkara built buses. Those buses are not worth to travel for long distances. Poor body building with tata.
