3 Killed, 13 Hurts In Two Accidents

Three people, Including a Haji were killed and 13 injured in different accidents at Mattanoor and Alappuzha today.

N Fouziya (36), who was returning from Haj was killed and 13 others were injured, two of them seriously, in an accident at Pazhassi near Mattanoor.


The accident occurred when their tempo traveller, coming from Karipur Airport to Irikkur, collided with a KSRTC bus bound to Payyanur from Bangalore. Fouziya died on the spot and the 13 injured, including 11 in tempo travellor, were admitted at the Indira Gandhi Cooperative Hospital, Thalassery.

One person was killed in an other accident near Alappuzha on Friday morning. The person has been identified as Ravi, a native of Cheppad. The accident occurred when his bike crashed against a KSRTC bus.

    I read in the newspaper that the KSRTC superfast bus that made the accident at Alappuzha is not yet identified. As you are a person aware of the exact bus routes, timings etc. why cant you make an attempt to conduct a personal enquiry and give the police an idea about the suspicious buses.

  2. "God's Own Country" in crisis of accidents because of the negligence ... here it is unknown who is responsible is it the tempo traveler or the bus...
