KSRTC to Kozhikode : Town to Town KSRTC buses are running in each 20 minutes in the day time from Nilambur to Kozhikode. Most of the TT buses are operated from Vazhikadavu and running to Kozhikode through Manjeri.
KSRTC to Kalpatta / Bathery : Direct KSRTC buses are running through Nilambur connecting Wayanad with Thrissur and other southern districts of Kerala. The shortest route to Sulthan Bathery and Kalpatta form Thrissur is through Perinthalmanna - Nilambur - Nadugani - Devala - Wayanad. Town to Town buses are running from Thrissur to Kalpatta and Thrissur to Bathery. The bus route started in 2009.OOTY/GUDALUR:

The shortest route to Bangalore from the southern states of Kerala is through Thrissur – Shornur- Pattambi -Perinthalmanna - Nilambur - Gudallur - Bandipur - Gundilpetta - Nanjangode - Mysore - Bangalore. It is shorter about more than 125 km compared to the Kozhikode - Wayanad route. The journey to Bangalore through Nilambur saves more than 3 hours. The private buses are now using this route while most of the KSRTC buses are using the Kozhikode route.
The timing of the buses are changing frequently because of the Bandipur problem The timings will be updated soon after KSRTC fixes the times.

ReplyDeleteNilambur-Iritty (2), Vazhikkadavu-Nilambur (6+6), Malappuram -Mananthavady(2), Koyilandi-Perintalmanna (10), Kozhikkode-Palakkad (bus in every 10 mins), Vzkdv-KKD(bus in every 10 mins) were the announced scheduled with no.of bus in braces. I dont know how many of them were started/when they going to start.
If anybody have some clue, please share.
There should be a nilambur- mysore or perintelmanna- mysore , if they are planning to stop perintelmanna- Bangalore bus permanently.

I dont know why the KaSRTC is getting enough permits through TN via salem-Hosur and KSRTC not...it is simply inefficiency of the management,no doubt....!!!
ReplyDeleteNilambur, Pmna and Vazhikkadavu depots have enough room to devolop because of the reachability to KA and TN. Still there is no bus to Gudallur that reach early morning from PMNA or NBR.
They can even expand the TVM-VZHKDV SF to Gudallur.
Is credit debit card require during Kerala RTC ticket booking ?

ReplyDeleteThere one gudalllur bus on morning from malappuram to gudallur timming in nilambur is in between 5 and 5 15. Please check before travelling. Its the same malapuram-ooty exp bus.

That bus was underwent for a "Jepthi" by court. I dont know the current status....!!!!

How they get collection if run on odd timings..?
ReplyDeleteEither they change the schedule time and permanently fix on one timing or change the route via CBTR-SALEM or CBTR-Mysore.
Also there is one MPM-GDLR bus is there in early morning. So it also could not be suffered.
