  1. Hey this is a nice initiative from ksrtc. People from bathery who do not have a train connectivity, got a nice opprtunity to use ksrtc buses for safe and comfort journey.

  2. nice move by KSRTC it will give a good competion for the private players who runs between tvm and bathery.. But the journey timing from tvm should consider for a rethink.. I think 4.50 pm is too early as others start only after 5 so that they can fetch more passengers.
But i still cant understand why the mysore service still remains a super fast. Why they cant use this bus for that or why they are not extending it to mysore.
It will also help the passengers who wants to go to blore can avail this service for this.
Karnataka state road transport has recently introduced a volvo between mysore and tvm. So why not atleast a super deluxe from KSRTC.?????

  3. @Joseph, Do we have any private paying in this route ? The permit for private buses are regular or they are running as luxury services ? How many of them are in service?

Heard that a new Batheri-Todupuzha superfast will soon commence its service from Batheri.

  4. I have seen booking offices in tvm. That claims daily service between tvm and mysore, bathery, kannur, vadakara. all the buses above said are semisleeper type.. so its not ordinary pvt buses. As ordinary pvt buses can say onl;y either limited stop or fast passenger

  5. It may be a good idea for Kerala SRTC to start a volvo service from Trivandrum to Bangalore via KKD, SBY, MYS.Karnataka SRTC already has a Airavath volvo from Trivandrum to Mysore.

  8. Karnataka RTC is presently operating an Airavat Volvo service from Bangalore To Thiruvananthapuram via Mysore, But Kerala RTC is not interested in that. Kerala RTC has only 3 Volvo buses. The closure of road during night time in this route is also a problem.
