Hartal In Kannur Affected KSRTC Buses

The day-long hartal called by BJP to protest killing of two of its workers in Kannur yesterday partially crippled normal life in the district and adjoining Mahe enclave of Puducherry.

Hartal activists pelted stones to three Kerala State Road Transpor (KSRTC) Buses, in which a driver of a bus sustained injuries. KSRTC Driver P.V Ashokan is the victim of this hartal and he is admitted in a hospital.

KSRTC stopped the services after these incidents. Majority of the shops and business establishments remained closed following the hartal.

Two BJP activists were killed when they were attacked with crude bombs and stabbed allegedly by CPI-M wokers at New Mahe ysterday when they were proceeding on a motorcycle after appearing in court in connection with a attempt to murder case involving CPI-M workers.

Government should take strict action against these type of activities which is doing by the hartal supporters to public properties.
