KSRTC is running a Super deluxe air bus from Bangalore to Thiruvalla and vice versa. This service started around 3 years back when Mathew T Thomas was the transport minister. This is one of the finest and perfect schedule of Kerala RTC. Most of the times the bus used to maintain the proper timings. Many people include students, IT Professionals etc make use of this service. The bus is well maintained and timing is also perfect.

ReplyDeletePlease confirm the daily schedule of Kottarakkara - Bangalore Super Deluxe bus. Need a pickup point at Electronic City for Kerala KSRTC busses.
ReplyDeletenow ksrtc kerala hav pick up point at St.Johns Hospital Near Madiwala. You need to tell them at the time of booking ticket. they ll mention that on the ticket.
ReplyDeleteI happened to travel in the Madurai - Thiruvalla Super Deluxe on 28th February. There were only 8 passengers in the bus when it left Madurai Central Bus Stand and three more boarded from Arappalayam bus stand. Normally this route has a very high occupancy rate compared to any other route. We can see a lot of passengers who came to board the bus but after hearing the fare they dropped the plan. It would be better if the Super Deluxe bus is replaced with a Super Fast Service and it will have very high patronage from Madurai to Kumily and from Kumily to Kottayam & Changanassery. The plan to run a Super Deluxe in this route was decided without considering the traffic pattern in the route. KSRTC should plan all this before starting any service and have to operate correct service. At the same time Madurai - Ernakulam Super Fast Service is running with almost 95% occupancy rate.
ReplyDeleteDoes the Madurai SDLX go via Dindigul ?
ReplyDeleteWhen will it start from Thiruvalla ?
No. It goes via, Kottayam, Kumily, Cumbum, Theni, Usilampatti. For going to Dindigual get down at Theni. There will be one service to Dindigul for every 15mins from Theni. It will take 2hours from Theni to Dindigul. I am not sure about the departure time from Thiruvalla
ReplyDeleteThe same thing which is happening to thiruvalla bangalore deluxe bus. first it was a superfast bus, at that time from bangalore only the bus will be fully occupied almost all the days. now its not happening for the super deluxe bus has started the service. the conductors are also telling the same thing. but the collection is not gone down as they are charging more compared to the superfast.

For the opening of a Bus service, several factors to be accounted..Significance , growth & importance of places, Existing connectivity..Type of passengers..seasonal variations in travelling..road condition..Timing etc..All these require thorough study & feed back. It’s a fact that KSRTC is ruled by people who want to please their hometown..
ReplyDeleteTVLA-BNGLR Trip also started with of political patronage
…Between KTR-CGNR &.PTA-TVLA there’s no Rail connectivity..Peoples from this area have to go (Usually in LSORD/SFP/TAXI/AUTO) either KTM or CGNR/TVLA to catch up BNGLR Bus/Train.From November-January season thousands of Sabarimala devotees travel by train upto CGNR/PTA..
Moreover many Pvt services operate from KTM sector.
.If all these factors taken into account the existing (TVLA-BNGLR) could have started from PTA/CGNR/ADR.
When next ministry comes in power the picture may be different..This is what is going on in KSRTC..
